Grateful for:
- In an effort to figure out where my time goes while I don’t really work and don’t really “achieve” anything at the moment while still not having enough time to do all the things I love, I am being mindful of the what I spend my time on these days.
- Spending the first 3 hours of the day in meditations, reflections, daydreams, card readings and introspection. While not directly involved in producing a tangible result. I guess these are some of the most important things I do throughout the day to live a life of flow and blissful acceptance. No pruning of hours required here.
- Made a super yummy and healthy mango cashew raw soup today after trying it yesterday at raw food pot luck. Decadence at its best.
- Being part of an elite group of people. Sounds quite elitist, I know, but I guess it is time to stop denying and suppressing the ego but embrace it with open hands and give it the recognition and a pat on the back it craves above all else.
- Signing up to a status update scheduling program and setting up some scheduled updates. I have noticed that a barrage of inspiration comes out when I am reading something or channelling some goodness and then nothing happens for 24 hours or more. So in attempt to spread out the goodness and create a positive feedback loop of feeding off responses to status updates throughout the day, I am going to experiment with scheduling.
- The inkling I got a month ago to restart my yoga practice turned into a full blown persistent shout and nudge from my body to do it NOW and not delay another second. It is amazing how loud and clear it communicates to me these days, if only it were able to put me to sleep at an acceptable hour, it would have been a perfect personal wellness PA, but I guess it is more concerned with squeezing every last minute of being alive like the rest of me.
- Going to my first ashtanga class after a veeeeeery long break. I did 1 month of Vinyasa yoga back in April (thanks to the super awesome NYC YMCA!) but before that it must have been at least another year since any yoga if not more. Feeling pretty smug and happy with myself at the moment, remembered all the poses and surprisingly enough had great flexibility in the lower part of the body, just need to work on those twists in the upper body and the hand muscles which are virtually non existent at the moment.
- Committing to a 7 day yoga challenge hoping to turn it into a 30 day challenge.
- Being extra sensitive in my body lately due to the raw diet and other wellness lifestyle changes I have been making lately, I was extremely aware of the “prana” (energy) generated by the practice coursing through my whole body by the end of it. Quite an exhilarating experience and definitely addictive.
- Coming home to a house filled with friends.
- Having a super inspired 3 hour conversation. When 2 NTPs get together amazing things start happening, if only in the mind: new world orders created, reality perceptions augmented and theories fleshed out in… more theories :)
- Taking away a few important distinctions and a truckload of new ideas to sift through and see if I can find anything else worth keeping and making my own.
- Being conscious of the fact that while before I struggled to come up with 10 unique gratitude things for each day hitting a momentary halt at around 7, for the past few weeks I am consistently exceeding 10 quite easily with no pauses at all. Count this as another evidence that no, I’m not dreaming, my quality of life experience has increased greatly over the past few months of intense growth, reflection and self inquiry.
- Unexpected surprises and syncronistic quotes.
