Grateful for:
- Freshly squeezed juice in the morning! Oh how I missed thee…
- Spending 1 hour in the kitchen in the morning and another 2 hours at night creating all sorts of raw food concoctions! As my housemate has put it, I am channelling food at the moment lol! I ended up with a batch of savoury crackers (with a new sweet batch in the dehydrator), nut cheese, nut milk, silverbeet chips (Australia hasn’t caught on kale yet unfortunately), chia seed pudding and last but not least the most divine albeit not raw baba ganoush in the history of mankind (I have witnesses to testify to its goodness) which is just eggplant straight from the oven blended with garlic, olive oil, salt and a bit of avocado (I was short on eggplant, but it gave an interesting twist). Leave the skin on and just discard the stem. I have to admit with this last instalment it is now a definite favourite and hummus will have to take a second place. Errrr. did I mention already how much I LOVE cooking? :)
- Spending the morning rolled into my elmo blanket on the grass under the sun meditating and enjoying my raw breakfast and chai. I love my rolled up in a blanked meditations, that is pretty much the only kind that I do, but then I do them well and do them often.
- Having the most fascinating conversation that prompted lots of paradigm shifts and most importantly, challenged my socks off! Still trying to let it all settle in, but I’m excited!
- Catching up with a friend. A good thing about going away is all the catching up I need to do upon my return. It’s awesome.
- Feeling simply ecstatic today riding my bike, a real feeling of joy and elation in my whole body not just my mind. It is so awesomely delicious to be living a fully present and engaged life of heightened sensitivity.
- Receiving the 2 boxes of stuff I have sent to myself from Sydney. Lots of goodies to play with over the next couple of weeks.
- Inbox and task list are both empty again at the end of the day – this is easier than I thought!
- Having a great conversation with a housemate over a cup of jasmine rose tea. Cleared up some of my confusion over the lessons I have been receiving this year. Thank you!
- Giving myself a foot massage. It was nice but not as nice as when someone else does it – the mystery of human touch.
- Looking forward to a 3 day long birthday :)
- Manifesting a free invite to the Zoo in the morning and a free invite to a Murder Mystery party in the afternoon. Sometimes it scares me that I really don’t need money to live a good life, which means the Universe won’t give it to me, but then if I really don’t need it, maybe it’s ok?… This has been on my mind so much lately and I still can’t figure this one out, but I’ll get there. It’s tough working the life path of 8…
