Little India

Grateful for:

  1. Collaborative effort to create the most awesome brunch ever. Enjoying eating it all in good company made it even tastier.
  2. Coming up with creative salad and smoothie ideas on the fly – feeling the growing confidence and progress in my intuitive cooking approach.
  3. Visiting Singapore’s tech shopping Mecca Sim Plaza. Shopping for someone else is still shopping and a lot of fun.
  4. Receiving lessons on bargaining.
  5. Visiting Little India quarter for the craziest concentrated experience of India, the real immersion and a completely different world from the rest of the city. The only hint that we aren’t really in India were the shop names in English, otherwise could have fooled me.
  6. Having an Indian meal. I quite forgot what its like to have a variety of international cuisine eating wholesome French food for the past 2 months.
  7. Buying some vegetables in the store and having to fight my way to the checkout for a real Indian participation experience.
  8. Attempting to set up a live slide show of flickr b&w photos for some “subliminal” learning.
  9. Finding a Female Self Portrait Support Group on flickr – for women who create art of themselves. Now THAT is a brilliant self expression idea. Going to look for a remote control shutter release tomorrow…
  10. Finding the time to record and share my experiences.
