Kyoto’s only English used book store

Grateful for

  1. Having a relaxed day.
  2. Traveling to the mountain slope looking at temples and sunset.
  3. Spending half a day in what seems to be the only Kyoto English used book store yesterday http://www.greenebooks.net getting lots of books again.
  4. Finding the perfect book ever exactly what I wanted Mastering the sumi-e Japanese ink painting.
  5. Having lunch in the nearby falafel cafe twice in a row – their pitas are to die for, taste delicious and feel very fresh.
  6. Walking around in the rain yesterday, each day seems to bring a new experience.
  7. Starting to read books again, been so busy lately I forget how much I love it.
  8. Slowly but surely dealing with the to do list one item at a time.
  9. Feeling extremely peaceful grateful and contended in the last few days and weeks.
  10. Having cheese fondue with several types of bread in a bakery today – distinctly unJapanese cuisine in what appears to be distinctly unJapanese neighborhood north of botanical gardens.
  11. Reading about and pondering the subject of happiness.
