First day in Seattle

Grateful for:

  1. Watching sunrise over the mountains. Sunrise spotting is a rare event and is always awe inspiring.
  2. Arriving in Seattle and being greeted by its signature rain.
  3. Finding Wholefoods store just up the street from the hotel and having a 2lbs of salad to celebrate.
  4. Finding and purchasing some small items that were forever on the “to buy” list but could not find them anywhere else.
  5. Seeing a distinct seattlean look to the majority of people.
  6. Finding a live blossom branch left behind by closed flower stall and making it my friend.
  7. Watching a disturbing moving Shutter Island with an awesome twist but at the end but gut wrenching and weird way of getting there, NOT recommended for those in touch with their emotions.
  8. Pondering how the city is just not doing it for me and what is it that I enjoy most while traveling so I can focus on attracting more of those things in my life.
  9. Visiting the original Starbucks store. Back in Japan Starbucks coffee to wrap up the day and muse on life was a daily ritual so it was nice to visit the place where it all started before it took over the world.
  10. Completing the first week of the 30 day gratitude challenge.
  11. I have a sense of gentleness about me.
