Didn’t do much since arriving to Cambodia, found a neat little garden guest house Golden Temple Villa with free Internet, tea, coffee and hammocks and just kind of spent our days lazing/working in the sun. The frantic rhythm has finally started to let go of us and we started to slow down. I bet we probably set the record for number of days spent in Siem Reap before visiting the legendary Angkor Wat temples.
Saw Ben a few more times before he departed and turns out he was staying in the same funky guest house we found but also unfortunately turns out it is so cool that it is featured in Lonely Planet and hence is always fully booked for after the first 3 days were were never able to get a reservation there again and staying they have set an impossible price/amenities plank to which no other hotel measured up and we ended up moving almost every day ever since.
At the end of day Monday Alia came up from Phnom Penh to see us and it was cool see yet another Vanuatu “local” overseas and we ended the day happily chatting and gossiping away.
