This recipe is so good and easy that no modifications are necessary:
Cook in a pressure cooker or slow cooker or any kind of cooker you have handy.
The only thing I add is a bunch of island cabbage on top of the pork before I lock the lid. And I chuck some pork trotters in for extra collagen and cartilage goodness, if I managed to score some in the shop.
Oh and I don’t know where to get fermented beans so I use black bean sauce instead.
